Looking for a new type of role using your nursing experience within a non-healthcare/clinical setting? Be part of Unified Healthcare Group (UHG) where our Mobile Health Screening Consultants provide in-home and workplace health screening for the life insurance industry.

This is a remote contractor role which means the benefits of managing your own schedule, workload and working close to home.

We provide secure online access to a national marketplace of GP's, Specialists, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals and more.

Job Description

If you are an Enrolled or Registered Nurse with over 2 years of recent blood collection experience then this could be for you.

Responsibilities

  • Meeting with our life insurance applicants in their home or workplace to conduct routine health screening assessments and pathology collection services
  • Liaising with stakeholders regarding stages of the screening process
  • Updating head office every 24 hours on the progression of appointment stages via our bespoke platform, medEbridge
  • Using our bespoke platform, medEbridge, to complete and finalise the bookings and results

Qualifications

  • Be an Enrolled or Registered Nurse with a solid medical and phlebotomy background (minimum 2 years)
  • Valid registration with APHRA
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service that aligns with our business values
  • Must have or be willing to obtain an ABN
  • Required to have personal indemnity and public liability insurance
  • Must hold a valid driver's license, car insurance and have a reliable vehicle as health assessments are completed at client locations
