Home Care Support Worker | Aged Care - Batemans Bay to Moruya
Australian Unity

We are looking for compassionate individuals to help support elderly clients (65+) to live independently at home. Join our team and contribute to high-quality in-home care.

What this role offers
  • Open to Experienced candidates
  • Permanent Part-Time Contracts
  • Permanent Contract hours: 20-30 hours per fortnight + flex up hours
  • Hourly Rate: $32.86 - $34.16 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
What You'll Be Doing
  • Provide domestic assistance such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Provide personal care services including showering, toileting, assistance with medications, plus domestic duties and social supports (e.g., transportation for clients)
  • Be a friendly face and brighten someone's day
Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Assist with household tasks and provide personal support in clients' homes
  • Deliver compassionate care and implement support plans
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Live in or near Batemans Bay and surrounding suburbs (Benandarah, Bimbimbie, Long Beach, Maloneys Beach, Malua Bay, Moruya, South Durras, Surfside and surrounds)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence with own car (international licences or shared/rental vehicles not accepted)
  • 3+ months of paid Aged Care experience
  • Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 7am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (weekend availability is a bonus)
  • Commitment to paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training at start; travel is required for training
  • This role is NOT a vacancy for Disability or to work in a facility/nursing home
