Public Sector People are partnering with local government organisation to recruit for an Economy Project Officer

Contract: 12 months | 21 hours weekly

Hourly Pay Rate: $67.26 + Super

Responsibilities

  • Delivering and coordinating initiatives that enhance the vibrancy, safety, and economic vitality of key precincts, with a strong focus on supporting and sustaining areas accredited under the NSW Government's Purple Flag Program.
  • Leading the implementation of precinct-based programs that activate the night-time economy, foster innovation, and support inclusive, welcoming environments for both residents and visitors
  • Develop strategic partnerships with high level internal and external stakeholders to manage customer relations, deliver projects and effective project management of projects

Essential
  • Minimum 12 months experience in an Economic Development position, ideally for local government
