Accessory Fitter

Negotiable hourly rate + super + allowances. As an Accessory Fitter at TJM Townsville, you'll get hands-on with vehicle upgrades such as lift kits, bull bars, and custom builds. If you love building high-performance 4x4 vehicles, this role will involve all aspects of fitment to a wide range of 4WDs, ensuring each vehicle is equipped to handle the toughest terrain.

• Fitment of 4x4 accessories across a variety of vehicle models.
• Read and follow fitting instructions, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Apply safe workshop practices and maintain WHS standards.
• Ensure high quality workmanship with strong attention to detail.
• Problem solve and work independently or as part of a team.
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

• Previous experience in 4x4 accessory fitting or a mechanical/auto electrical background (preferred but not essential).
• Strong mechanical aptitude; comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of 4x4 systems, vehicle modifications, and aftermarket accessories.
• Ability to read and follow fitting instructions, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Understanding of safe workshop practices and commitment to WHS standards.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Valid Australian Driver's license.
• Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.
