Job Overview:

As a Senior Store Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the store, overseeing sales, team development, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will be responsible for driving performance, meeting KPIs, and leading by example, ensuring that your team is motivated and aligned with the company's vision and values. This role requires strong leadership, a results-oriented mindset, and a passion for homewares and furniture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team of sales associates, ensuring they are well-trained and motivated to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Oversee the implementation of sales strategies and KPI management, including stock management and store presentation.
  • Develop and execute training programs to upskill and inspire your team, ensuring continuous personal and professional growth.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, focusing on team development and succession planning.
  • Drive a luxury or high-end customer experience, ensuring every customer interaction reflects the brand's premium reputation.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure the store is always presented at its best.
  • Manage store operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory control, and handling customer inquiries or issues.
  • Ensure that health and safety policies are adhered to and that the store environment is safe and welcoming for both employees and customers.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Store Manager, preferably in a luxury or high-end retail environment (Furniture & Homewares experience is a plus).
  • Previous experience managing multiple sites or large teams.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent sales-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs.
  • Ability to train, coach, and mentor the team to reach their full potential.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A high standard of personal presentation and a passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and holidays as needed.
