ASC is Australia's submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy's Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats' service lives. We have also been selected by the Australian Government to sustain and jointly build the nation's nuclear-powered submarines – the largest and most complex industrial undertaking in Australia's history.
About the opportunityOur Corporate Graduate Program is a unique and exciting early careers pathway dedicated to providing meaningful work, growth, and security, while contributing directly to Australia's national security. Our graduates will receive tailored mentoring and support whilst gaining exposure through rotations across various departments before settling in a specific area at the end of the program.
We are seeking Safety Graduates who have recently completed a degree in disciplines such as Occupational Safety, Health and Hygiene, Occupational Health, or Psychology.
This is a structured 2-year program commencing in July 2025. Located in Osborne, South Australia, and Henderson, Western Australia, this program offers outstanding individuals the opportunity to:
- Start their health and safety career with a leading defence organisation.
- Gain exposure to core functions including Risk Management, Incident Management, Safety Systems and data analysis, Audit Assurance, and Occupational Health.
- Develop expertise in Safety Management by collaborating across business units to support the Safety Management System and meet regulatory requirements.

This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance, and the ability to access protected US defence technology. Maintaining these clearances and approvals is essential for eligibility.
