Our client is a privately owned principal building contractor that specialises in building high rise towers at the Gold Coast. With continuity of work offered by repeat clients they have 3 projects running at any time that are all funded by Tier 1 lenders. A close-knit team of experience Tier 1 and Tier 2 construction professionals have implemented sophisticated but nimble processes and systems to support the efficiency of each role.
The RoleDue to their continued success our client is looking to add another Project Manager to the team. You will be walking in ahead of time and will take responsibility of your projects from start to finish. You are not being employed to clean up someone else's mess
You will take on a luxury apartment building at Main Beach, Gold Coast. You will have commercial support in the form of Senior CA, Project Engineer and Cadet, Design Management and a very well-resourced site team including an exceptional Site Manager, Site Supervisors and full time HSE Advisor.
Project ScopeThis project will consist of 4 basement levels, 23 levels above ground with a build value of circa $70m and units selling for circa $10m each.
Having recently been engaged at ECI stage, Design is forecast for November 2025 with building due to start in the new year.
About YouYou will be a humble team player. You will be respectful and demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence and commercial acumen.
This will be joining a close-knit team who has a culture they are passionate about.
You will have experience working on the highest-level finish on luxury apartments from basement dig through to the final details of their impressive quality.
Safety will be your number 1 priority and your ability to run a well programmed, highly organised and motivated team will be the lead indicator for your success with safety, quality and program targets.
You will have experience leading a large teams (10+ people) by developing a culture that is fine tuned for success. Your leadership traits will bring the best out of your team members and subcontractors alike. You will be used to working with MSP, JobPac and Procore (or similar).
You will have had 5+ years' experience working as a Project Manager in a Tier1/Tier2 environment running projects valued at $50m +.
