We're looking for a skilled and proactive Program Engagement Officer to join a dynamic team focused on delivering high-impact infrastructure initiatives. This contract role, based in Townsville, plays a key part in managing community expectations and strengthening public support through strategic communication and stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate is a confident communicator with experience in stakeholder management, digital engagement tools, and the development of clear, targeted communication materials. You'll be responsible for delivering consistent messaging across multiple platforms, maintaining key engagement channels, and ensuring transparent, responsive interactions with the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships
  • Develop and manage content for public-facing web pages
  • Create and distribute newsletters, media releases, and alerts
  • Track correspondence and resolve community concerns
  • Maintain accurate engagement data and reporting systems
