The Role

Patties Food Group is seeking two detail-oriented Data Analysts to join our team on a 6-month contract. Based at our Pakenham site, these roles will support critical data management activities across product and manufacturing systems. This role would be ideal for a recent graduate looking to take the next step in their career. Reporting to the Innovation Manager, you will be responsible for cleansing and validating product data as well as:

  • Cleanse and review data from Product Information Forms (PIFs) to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Enter supplier specification data into our recipe management system
  • Review and validate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for accuracy and completeness
  • Support data migration and integration from ERP systems (M3), resolving discrepancies
  • Collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to align data inputs
  • Assist in maintaining data governance and ensuring data integrity across platforms
  • Generate reports and summaries highlighting data quality issues and recommended corrective actions
  • Other ad hoc duties as directed
The Person

You're someone who thrives on accuracy, structure, and problem-solving. You will have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a data analyst or data management role, ideally within FMCG, food manufacturing, or a related industry
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably M3)
  • Knowledge of PIFs or technical product specifications highly regarded
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
