About The FacilityOur major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong's CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.
About The RoleJoin our growing team as a Security Analyst and play a critical role in safeguarding patient data and ensuring the security of our enterprise health environment. You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security events, responding to security incidents, and maintaining our security posture through the effective use of industry-leading security tools.
You will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
- Threat Hunting & Incident Response: Proactively hunt for threats, investigate security incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
- Security Monitoring: Monitor security alerts, analyze logs, and identify suspicious activity.
- Security Tooling & Operations: Manage and maintain security tools, including Secure DNS, EDR, and SIEM.
- Security Posture Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our security posture through vulnerability assessments and security awareness training.
