The Territory Manager plays a critical frontline role in delivering the VELUX commercial strategy by building strong customer partnerships, driving sales performance, and elevating the in-market execution of our category, channel, and customer plans. As part of the national field sales team, you are responsible for managing a defined territory, influencing trade partners, and achieving sales targets through high-impact activity with builders, dealers, installers alongside architects and specifiers.

What You'll Accomplish

Customer & Channel Execution

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in your territory (builders, dealers, installers, and specifiers)
  • Focus on delivering value with every customer facing interaction
  • Execute against customer contact strategy and journey plans as directed by Sales Manager – Field and Capability
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities, delivering value through VELUX product specification and advocacy
  • Ensure showroom presence, merchandising, and POS visibility meets VELUX brand standards
  • Have strong commercial acumen to drive mutually profitable growth for VELUX and customers

Sales Performance & Reporting

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Accurately forecast, manage pipeline, and track progress using CRM
  • Provide feedback on customer activity, competitor moves, and market shifts
  • Contribute to territory reviews, joint business planning updates, and business performance cycles

Capability & Development

  • Participate actively in sales coaching, online and in-person training modules led by the Sales Manager
  • Embed learnings from sales capability programs to improve customer conversations and execution quality
  • Demonstrate accountability in meeting performance expectations and personal development goals

Collaboration & Compliance

  • Work cross-functionally with Customer Service, Technical support, Marketing, and Product teams to resolve issues and deliver service excellence
  • Champion VELUX's safety-first culture and comply with governance requirements
  • Live and role model the VELUX Model Company values in all customer and team interactions

Who We're Looking For

You're a driven and customer-focused sales professional with a passion for building partnerships and influencing decisions. You thrive on ownership, results, and continuous improvement, and you enjoy the variety of managing a diverse customer base in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

·2–4 years of sales OR trade experience, ideally in building materials, construction, or trade-related industries

·Proven ability to build long-term relationships and convert new business opportunities

·Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

·High level of personal accountability and discipline in territory planning

·Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools

  • ·A current driver's license and willingness to travel within assigned territory
