Part time opportunity - Join our thriving inner Melbourne clinic

Do you love providing exceptional patient care and thrive in a collaborative environment and are looking for flexibility?

Our vibrant four vet general practice in the heart of Melbourne's inner North is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join our fantastic team on a Part-time basis.

What you'll experience:

  • A supportive and collaborative environment with experienced vets, qualified nurses, a dedicated practice manager and 2IC.
  • The opportunity to tailor your role – we're open to discussing your specialist interests and how we can best utilize or hone your skills.
    • Barking mad for Behaviour? We have clients keen to ease their pet's anxiety.
    • Wanting to sink your teeth into dentistry? We have a high dental caseload and willingness to train Vets wishing to upskill in dental care.
    • Looking for the pur-fect role? We have a high feline caseload and designated cat treatment areas for our feline friends.

We have spent the past few years striving for a healthier work-life balance for our staff with designated lunch breaks, daily rounds, clinic closure for our weekly staff meeting, allocated times for pathology and a reasonable and consistent closing time.

  • A stimulating caseload – you'll encounter a great mix of medical and surgical cases to keep you engaged. We're busy in a good way
  • Learning opportunities – we offer access to further training through the VetPartners Veterinary Training Centre in addition to a generous CPD allowance.
  • We offer regular hours (8am-6pm) with the option of 1 surgical shift per week. Plus, you'll only work 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (Saturday opening hours 9am-1pm)

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Veterinarian
  • Shares our passion for delivering exceptional pet care in a general practice setting
  • Is a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Possess excellent communication skills
