Role Opportunity
Structural Engineer - Intermediate Level to join a growing multi discipline engineering consultant servicing the mining/minerals processing and heavy industry sectors.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 38 years of structural engineering experience, ideally in mining and mineral processing projects.
  • Proficient in SpaceGass;
  • Experience working with engineering consultants
  • Strong understanding of structural design principles and materials (steel and concrete).
  • Familiarity with Australian Standards (e.g., AS 4100, AS 3600, AS 1170).
  • Demonstrated experience conducting site visits and inspections.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform structural design calculations to support brownfield mining and mineral processing projects.
  • Utilise SpaceGass and other engineering tools for structural analysis and design.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing structures and gather necessary field data.
  • Develop and review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant Australian Standards and mining industry safety regulations.
  • Participate in project planning, design reviews, and construction support activities.
