Senior Accounts Payable Officer - High Volume AP | ASX Listed Company

Location: Just Outside Melbourne CBD
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 + Super

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable Officer with a strong background in high-volume accounts payable (AP)? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a desire to grow your career in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? If so, this is the perfect opportunity for you

We are currently seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join a prestigious ASX-listed company located just outside Melbourne CBD. This is a full-time role offering excellent career growth opportunities and a supportive work environment, where you'll work directly alongside the Accounts Payable Managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and process high-volume accounts payable transactions efficiently and accurately
  • Oversee invoice matching, coding, and reconciliation processes
  • Assist with reporting and analysis
  • Process payment runs and ensure timely and accurate payments
  • Resolve AP discrepancies and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in high-volume accounts payable roles
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of accounting systems and financial processes
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Tech 1 system (experience not required)
