Overview

Toowoomba State High School is seeking a motivated and dedicated Teacher Aide (Kurdish Interpreter) to support student learning and engagement. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to student success, and the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in a diverse and inclusive school community.

This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.32FTE), 24 hours per fortnight.

Situated on Giabal and Jarowair land, at Mt Lofty, the school campus overlooks the city of Toowoomba. Students have access to diverse possibilities and opportunities.   • Assisting and supporting students with learning activities in a supportive school environment.
  • Contributing to the welfare, health and safety of students.
  • Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member.
  • Maintaining anecdotal records on students for use in reviewing students' development.
  • Displaying respect and empathy for students with high level needs.
