What You'll Do
Depending on your area of expertise, you will:
- Deliver high-quality teaching in equine medicine, small animal surgery, or internal medicine
- Lead and innovate in curriculum development and clinical education
- Provide expert clinical services and mentor students, interns, and residents
- Conduct and publish impactful research
- Engage with industry partners and contribute to strategic initiatives
What You'll Bring
- Veterinary degree registrable in Queensland
- Specialist-level qualifications (e.g., FANZCVS, Dipl. ACVIM/ECVIM/ACVS/ECVS)
- Proven excellence in teaching, clinical service, and research
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
About Veterinary Science at JCU
JCU's veterinary program is renowned for its hands-on, clinically focused education in a tropical setting. With access to a purpose-built Veterinary Teaching Hospital and Fletcherview Research Station, students gain real-world experience across urban and rural contexts.
