Primary Objective: The role of a Resident Medical Officer / Senior Resident Medical Officer is to provide patient care under the supervision of the treating specialist clinician responsible for the patient's care. Services are provided across NT Health Top End Region, including rural hospitals in Katherine and Nhulunbuy. Responsibilities include initial patient assessment upon admission, daily progress assessments, communication with senior medical staff, and coordination of diagnosis, management, and discharge planning. Selection will be made at the RMO or SRMO level depending on qualifications and experience.
