Evoenergy owns, maintains and operates the electricity distribution network in the ACT and the gas network in the ACT and parts of NSW. We supply safe, reliable and cost‑effective electricity to over 200,000 residential and business electricity customers, and over 140,000 gas customers.

Evoenergy invites recent Engineering graduates to apply for the 2026 Graduate Engineering Program. The two-year graduate program is your gateway into the electricity distribution sector. You will receive tailored industry training, professional development, and valuable networking opportunities. The Evoenergy graduate program is a two-year opportunity to fast‑track your career into the electricity distribution sector. You'll be offered industry-specific training, professional development and networking opportunities as you consolidate theory and put it into practice by working on real projects.

As a graduate, you'll work alongside experienced mentors, gaining hands-on experience, building technical expertise, and growing your professional confidence. You'll contribute to meaningful, real-world solutions that support and empower our community.

What you will have

  • Recently graduated (within the last 2 years), or graduating this year, with a bachelor's in electrical engineering, power systems engineering (or similar)
  • Previous experience working in a team-based role and/or evidence of teamwork outside of work (e.g., extra-curricular activities, sporting teams, social groups)
  • Safety front of mind and be passionate about driving positive safety behaviour
  • Alignment with our culture principles and behaviours
