The Role
Bielby's sustained and ongoing growth as a business has presented a great opportunity for a Construction Manager to join us on a large scale regional main roads project. You will oversee the delivery of the substructure for a precast segmental cantilever bridge, including the temporary jetty used to construct the superstructure. This is a highly technical and intricate role playing a key part of a flagship project.
Based on-site, you will lead all activities related to the substructure and critical marine works, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and engineering precision, whilst coordinating with other scope.

About You

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or a related field is essential
• 5-10+ years' experience in construction management or senior project engineering role with similar proven related experience
• Demonstrated management skills and the ability to work effectively with others to achieve project goals.
• Control project financials by managing budgets and providing accurate profit/loss forecasts, working closely with senior management.
• Competent in planning and organising work schedules and a proven ability to manage multiple interfaces and contending demands.
• Extensive working knowledge of HSE requirements and their practical implementation on site.
• Strong methodical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
