Salary: $74,783 to $80,835 per annum

Responsibilities- Support the delivery of a quality, contemporary library service to meet a range of diverse and complex information and recreational needs to an agreed service standard, including developing and implementing particular aspects of Libraries Tasmania services and programs as required.
- Build and maintain effective relationships within the community to promote inclusion and lifelong learning.
- Work across the region, primarily based at New Norfolk, with availability to work at other locations to suit business needs.
- 73.5 hours per fortnight
- Based at New Norfolk with travel to other locations in the region as required
- Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a registration Status – Employment
- Effective communication and client service skills in a contemporary library setting
- Ability to use initiative, problem solve and apply conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams to meet deadlines
- Proficiency with MS Office, database systems and internet search; awareness of Workplace Health and Safety in a customer service setting
- A 1–2 page written response demonstrating experience, skills and knowledge related to the Statement of Duties
- A resume with relevant personal details and work history
- A valid email address for communications
