Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Bella Vista, NSW, for a Telecommunications Technician. The Telecommunications Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecommunications systems including cloud and on-premise based telephone systems, SIP trunks, NBN, fibre, SD-WAN, and Wifi . Daily tasks include configuring cloud and on-premise telephone systems, handsets, network firewalls, switches, and endpoints, performing risk assessments, and ensuring the security of telecommunication networks. The role also involves providing IT support, managing cloud-based backups, and assisting with disaster recovery solutions. This role requires remote and on-site support and installations, you must provide your own vehicle. Customer service is extremely important to us so the successful candidate must demonstrate excellent customer service skills both over the phone, email and face to face.

Qualifications

  • Experience in installing and maintaining telecommunications systems including Ring Central, Yeastar, Avaya & NEC, SIP trunks, NBN, fibre and SD-WAN.
  • Skills in configuring and troubleshooting network firewalls, switches, and endpoints
  • Proficiency in performing risk assessments and ensuring network security
  • Knowledge of IT support, cloud-based backups, and disaster recovery solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work on-site in Bella Vista, NSW or at a customer's premises
  • Relevant certifications are a plus
