Responsibilities

As an Occupational Medicine Doctor with Sonic HealthPlus, you provide comprehensive health services tailored to workers in high-demand industries. Your role will involve:

  • Pre-employment medicals and ongoing workforce health assessments
  • Fitness for work evaluations and return-to-work medicals
  • Injury management and rehabilitation guidance
  • Health surveillance programs for employees in mining, manufacturing, and trade sectors
  • Independent medical examinations (IMEs).

Doctors will be provided with:

  • Monday to Friday hours, no after hours or weekend work
  • Established customer base with strong industry ties
  • Support from an experienced clinical and administration team
  • Onsite pathology and allied health services
  • Opportunities for professional development in occupational health.
Requirements
  • Full registration with AHPRA
  • Fellowship in Occupational & Environmental Medicine (FAFOEM) or experience in occupational medicine
  • Ability to work independently within a corporate health setting
