The opportunity

As Account Manager, Fundraising, your role is to maintain a strong, ongoing relationship between Entertainment and our existing Fundraiser clients.

Some of the things you will be involved in:

  • Manages client relationships with key Fundraising accounts
  • Conducts Fundraiser planning meetings to design an entire marketing campaign, set goals, train and motivate group chair people
  • Ensures Entertainment's physical presence, and create excitement at Fundraising events
  • Presents the Fundraiser at public speaking events like Rotary meetings, school assemblies, social club events, etc.
  • Advises Fundraisers on the best use of social media, email, their website, and other digital strategies to support their fundraising
  • Uses print collateral effectively to support Fundraisers efforts
  • Coordinates regular Fundraiser email broadcasts, weekly phone communication and incentives for Fundraisers throughout the year
  • Acquires the assigned number of new Fundraiser and Premium accounts each year
  • Resolves client concerns properly and in a timely manner with complete follow through in accordance with Company policies. Also assist other team members with difficult clients, providing expertise in negotiation and overcoming objections
  • Procure Merchant content following a target list to improve Fundraising performance when instructed
  • Represents Entertainment in a professional and ethical manner, as well as observes office procedures and policies
  • Attends, as required, all staff meetings, workshops and divisional/regional training sessions
  • Completes and submits a weekly sales activity report of their results
  • Monitors competitive activity

We are looking for you to bring:

  • Previous account management and/or client management experience
  • Business/Marketing/Management degree or similar
  • People person – must enjoy speaking to, meeting, working with both external and internal stakeholders
  • Comfortable with event handling and account management
  • Ability to schedule a communications plan, and follow a calendar of contact with each of the accounts in their domain
  • A keen eye for detail, and discipline to keep regular track and follow-up on the needs and requirements which our various clients may have from Entertainment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and decision-making abilities
  • Goal driven and a strong (and proven) relationship builder
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good time-management skills, including the capacity to arrange the workload to meet conflicting priorities and deadlines
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft suite, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
