Summary

This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, structures, piping, and electrical systems in commercial or industrial settings.

Responsibilities

  • Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
  • Detects malfunction by listening for unusual sounds and discusses issues with supervisors or maintenance staff.
  • Dismantles defective machinery and installs repaired or new parts.
  • Cleans and lubricates machinery components.
  • Installs and repairs electrical systems and components.
  • Maintains piping systems and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
  • Repairs physical structures of the establishment.
  • Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery like robots or controllers.
  • Uses machine tools to repair or fabricate parts.
  • Operates cutting and welding equipment for metal work.
  • Fabricates and repairs wooden structures.
  • Responsible for daily customer order deliveries using a box truck.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, including machine repair and preventative maintenance. Metal fabrication experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance required.
  • Ability to work weekdays and overtime on weekends.
