This privately owned modern Medical Centre opened in September 2023. The practice is fitted with modern, multi-bed, fully equipped treatment room, supported by nursing staff, and nine consultation rooms that are spacious and fully computerized. Their amazing team comprises a Practice Principal, two GPs, a full-time Chiropractor, two Nurse Practitioners, a fly-in fly-out GP specializing in skin care, a full-time nurse, two full-time receptionists, an office manager, plus a good board of directors who run the financial side of the business and leave the medical team to run the medical side. Position Description:
As a clinical expert, the Nurse Practitioner provides clinical leadership.
Provides advanced nursing assessment diagnosis, care, and intervention to patients within the scope of a Nurse Practitioner.
Provides high-level clinical nursing, leadership, management, and governance within the practice.
Working collaboratively and in partnership with the health care team, the Nurse Practitioner assesses, diagnoses, treats, and manages patients' health problems and promotes a healthy lifestyle with a strong focus on preventative health care.
Qualifications & Experience:
AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
Advanced clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of illness and injury and health promotion relevant to the role and within individual scope of practice. Demonstrated clinical problem-solving skills including conceptual and analytical ability.
English is the preferred language.
Evidence of appropriate and continuing professional indemnity insurance.
Salary Information:
$90,000 - $120,000 per annum.
