The Role:
The Digital Business Analyst function involves understanding requirements and guiding solutions for technical delivery activities for Medibank across desktop and mobile channels. The role is tactically focused and instrumental in delivering a superior customer experience, deep product knowledge and a strong focus on customer experience coupled with the ability to facilitate effective discussions at all levels within IT and the business.

This role will report into the BA Practice Manager, but work closely with Product Manager/Owners, Business stakeholders, Scrum Masters/IMs and the delivery squads and ensure delivery of quality, cost effective and "fit for purpose" solutions within agreed timelines.

In line with Medibank's 2030 vision to create the best health and wellbeing for Australia this role will be working within the Corporate and Overseas Squad and working on some exciting initiatives that will help deliver on our vision.
The Responsibilities:

• Analysing a broadly defined area and using functional decomposition to define and document epics and user stories, supporting to create a well organised Product backlog driving the right business value.

• Performance of business analysis & other supporting project functions to contribute towards project success measures including scope, time, budget, quality and customer satisfaction.

• Performance of business analysis & other supporting project functions in line with defined project delivery frameworks and in compliance with Medibank policies

• Effectively managing relationships with stakeholders

About You:

• Must have prior experience as a Digital BA supporting discovery and delivery phases, in an agile fast-paced environment at mid-large organisations.

• Working knowledge/ understanding of platforms such as CRMs, Adobe Products such as AEM, Target and Analytics

• Experience facilitating workshops, running meetings and interviewing.

• Experience eliciting requirements and information from all levels of staff, including senior stakeholders and technical and business SMEs.

• Experience understanding and documenting complex business problems.

• Experience documenting requirements using Use Case and User Stories

• Experience in process mapping and journey mapping

• Experience using Jira and Confluence requirements toolsetsExperience working in a cross-functional, collaborative team environment.
Demonstrated experience in providing thought leadership and collaborative input by analysing and documenting digital processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation.
