Platypus Shoes is part of the Accent Group, Australia's and New Zealand's largest footwear retailer, with over 900 stores, 34 brands, and 30+ online platforms, including Glue Store, Skechers, Vans, Dr. Martens, The Athletes Foot, Timberland, UGG, Saucony, and more.
About the Role
Join Platypus Shoes at our Melbourne City stores as a Christmas Casual Bring energy, positivity, and enthusiasm during our busiest season.
Your responsibilities include helping customers find their perfect shoes, unpacking stock, and packing online orders. If you love sneakers, fast-paced environments, and great team spirit, you'll enjoy this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Create memorable experiences for every customer
- Support team to achieve sales and KPI targets
- Manage stock by receiving, restocking, and maintaining shelves
- Pick and pack online orders
- Maintain a clean and organized store
- Bring positive vibes and team spirit to every shift
What We're Looking For
- Full availability from October 2024 to mid-January 2025, including weekends, late nights, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
- Retail experience is a plus but not required
- Passion for sneakers and streetwear, with a focus on customer service
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Open to learning and feedback
