Join AGnVET's Field Services Team as a Graduate Agronomist, specializing in Broadacre or Horticulture, with structured development and strong team support.

Your role

Responsibilities

  • Providing agronomic advice on soils, plant nutrition, plant growth, insect, disease, and weed management across broadacre, pasture horticulture, and summer cropping systems.
  • Working closely with experienced agronomists and the field services team to develop skills in advanced agricultural technology, crop protection solutions, and plant nutrition services.
  • Supporting growers with up-to-date agronomic advice and solutions.
  • Being based in one of the following locations: Goulburn Valley (Cobram/Shepparton) VIC (Horticulture agronomy), Forbes NSW (Broadacre agronomy), or Gilgandra NSW (Broadacre agronomy).
  • Participating in a structured graduate program commencing in early 2026 or sooner, depending on availability.

Qualifications

  • Recent or imminent completion of tertiary qualifications.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability to change and effective interpersonal skills.
  • A keen interest in agricultural production and technology.
  • Passion for developing technical, management, and leadership potential.
  • Demonstrated participation and leadership in extra-curricular activities (advantageous).
  • The right to live and work in the specified location.
