Overview

Home Care Worker role at Mercy Health (Newcastle - Lake Macquarie region). Casual employment with flexible hours; weekend and evening availability would be highly regarded. Salary: $31 - $35 per hour (as per the Enterprise agreement).

What you'll do
  • Provide personal care with empathy and dignity
  • Domestic assistance and household tasks
  • Meal preparation and nutritional support
  • Assisted shopping and community access
  • Respite care to support family caregivers
What you'll bring
  • A warm, empathetic, person-centred approach to care
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with clients and families
  • A collaborative spirit that contributes to a team-focused culture
Required/Preferred Qualifications
  • Own car with insurance and a valid driver's license
  • First Aid Certificate (Level 2)
  • Certificate III or IV in Home and Community Care/Aged Care/Disability
  • NDIS workers screening check
