Prince of Peace Lutheran College is seeking a Learning Enrichment Coordinator
Prince of Peace Lutheran College is a K-12 co-educational, independent, Christian school located in the north-western suburbs of Brisbane. The College was established by the Prince of Peace Lutheran Congregation in 1984 to provide quality Christian education to the children of the community.
Prince of Peace Lutheran College offers classes on two sites from Kindergarten to Year 12 with approximately 700 students enrolled. The Junior Campus (K-6) is located at Rogers Parade West, Everton Park. The Middle & Senior Campus, 1 km away at Henderson Road, Everton Hills was opened in July 2009 and is home to Years 7-12.
LEARNING ENRICHMENT COORDINATOR - OVERVIEW
The Learning Support and Enrichment Coordinator works in collaboration with the Learning Enrichment Team and classroom teachers to support students with additional learning needs and to foster an inclusive, future-focused learning environment.
The role involves personalised support for students, guidance for teachers in differentiated instruction, and leadership in the implementation of adjustments and enrichment programs that align with NCCD requirements and the College's inclusive practices.
The Role and Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching and Learning
Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan, implement, and evaluate inclusive teaching and differentiated learning programs.
Support students with learning difficulties, disabilities, and identified enrichment needs across Years 7–12.
Provide targeted support through small group or individual intervention, classroom-based strategies, and flexible learning adjustments.
Coordinate assessment for learning, and co-develop with teaching staff Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), personalised learning adjustments, and student profiles.
Model high-quality teaching practice and strategies for differentiated and inclusive education.
Utilise contemporary learning technologies to support diverse learners effectively.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, particularly for those requiring Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions.
Provide guidance on best practices for inclusive education, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and
adjustments for diverse learners.
Provide regular feedback to students, teachers, and parents regarding progress and strategies for
improvement.

2. Leadership and Support
Offer expert advice and mentoring to teachers on inclusive practice, classroom accommodations, and positive behaviour strategies.
Facilitate professional conversations and contribute to the capacity building of staff around inclusive education.
Engage in data-informed decision-making to support academic and wellbeing outcomes for students.
Contribute to the College's commitment to child safety and wellbeing in all practices.
Promote student engagement and resilience through pastoral support in line with Lutheran values.
Support students with executive functioning skills, study skills, and self-regulated learning strategies.
Work closely with college counsellors, chaplains, and pastoral care teams to support student well-being.
Liaise with the Learning Enrichment Coordinator on the Junior Campus to ensure inclusive vision is
implemented
Lead administrative functions to ensure smooth timetabling of Learning Enrichment Offices (LEO's/Teacher
Aide).
3. Administration and Compliance
Maintain accurate documentation of support plans, adjustments, and evidence required for NCCD and AARA processes.
Liaise with parents/carers, therapists, external agencies, and other stakeholders regarding student progress and support needs.
Lead the coordination and submission of special provision applications for assessments, NAPLAN, and QCE.
Attend student support, case management, and other relevant meetings.
Document lesson plans and work programs, as required
Keep appropriate records of students' learning and assessment

Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation, and review of learning plans and enrichment programs.

An understanding of and commitment to Lutheran education values and Christian community life.
Demonstrated capacity to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and remain flexible under pressure.

Attend Chapels, assemblies and exercise appropriate supervision
Undertake theological study/accreditation processes as required by Lutheran Education Australia, including Pathways (all teaching staff) and Equip (for the teaching of Christian Studies).

The Learning Enrichment Coordinator plays a crucial role in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students on the Senior Campus. This role involves working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff to provide differentiated instruction, intervention programs, and enrichment opportunities. The position aligns with the values and mission of Lutheran Education Queensland (LEQ) and supports students in achieving their full academic and personal potential.

Essential Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree in education (Special Education or Learning Support qualification preferred).
Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
Experience working with or a desire to work with students with diverse learning needs, including disabilities and enrichment opportunities for gifted learners.
Knowledge of Australian Curriculum requirements for differentiation and inclusion
Understanding of NCCD processes and inclusive education policies in Queensland is desirable.
