Day shift Waged Roles starting at $44.81 - $50.53

Afternoon and Night Shift available starting at $58.00 - $65.00

Do you want to work in the most advanced shipyard in the world building the most complex Anti-Submarine Warfare Frigate? If so, we have multiple opportunities for Welders within the Production Team based in Osborne, SA

Key responsibilities include :

  1. Undertake tasks and duties as directed by production supervision and/or trades trainer within the bounds of current competence.
  2. Attend and complete relevant on-the-job training as required.
  3. Properly maintain materials, tools, and equipment.
  4. Strive to continuously improve teamwork, processes, and effectiveness in the work area.
  5. Adhere to BAE Maritime Australia policies and management practices.

About you :

  1. Trade qualifications.
  2. Experience in fabrication with MIG or Flux Core Welding.
  3. Ability to read drawings.
  4. Strong safety focus and commitment to enhancing the site safety environment.
  5. Strong time-keeping abilities.
  6. Excellent communication skills.

Clearances

As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances.
