Temp to Permanent | Monday to Friday | 5:00am – 1:00pm | Overtime Available
Are you an experienced HR Driver looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with the potential to move permanent?
We are currently seeking Multi System Operators (MSO) to join a busy waste and resource recovery operation based in Mackay.
This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity offering consistent weekday hours, an excellent hourly rate and overtime opportunities.
What's on Offer
- $45.45 per hour – Waste Award Grade 8
- Monday to Friday, 5:00am – 1:00pm
- Overtime available as required
- Saturday generally used as a catch-up day if required
- Temp-to-permanent opportunity
- Mackay-based role
- Work across the wider region
About the Role
- Operating Front Lift and Hook Lift collection vehicles
- Operating company collection vehicles and equipment
- Transporting loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities
- Completing daily pre-start, maintenance and safety checks
- Safely loading and unloading the vehicle
- Operating vehicle controls manually
- Interacting professionally with customers and site personnel
- Following all safety and operational procedures
About You
- Current unrestricted HR licence (or equivalent Class 4 NZ licence)
- A clean driving record
- Previous heavy vehicle driving experience
- Confidence operating vehicle controls manually
- Ability to multitask in a busy operational environment
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- A strong commitment to safety and a Zero Harm mindset
- Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays when required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
