Overview

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and relational HOLA – Technologies to lead our Technologies Department. This is a full time, ongoing position, commencing Term 1, 2026.

About the role

Reporting to the Deputy Principal, you will have the opportunity to lead our accomplished and highly experienced Technologies Department. As Head of Learning Area (HOLA), you will be responsible for overseeing both Design Technologies and Digital Technologies. You will be expected to cultivate constructive and professional relationships with the Technologies team, motivating staff to consistently pursue excellence. Furthermore, you will assume responsibility for curriculum leadership, demonstrating proficiency in both operational execution and strategic planning.

  • Excellent ability to lead change within the Technologies Department, with the appetite to continue to grow the Technologies team so they remain open to educational change and innovation.
  • Excellent ability to be decisive and navigate challenges yet also be innovative.
  • Excellent ability to be an inclusive leader who can demonstrate their willingness to respond to student's needs, ensuring all students feel safe, valued and represented.

Desirable: Accreditation to Lead or a willingness to work towards
