Dynamics 365 Developer

Client - Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water

Rate & term - $150 per hour including Super | 12 month initial contract | 2x12 month extension options

Location & work arrangements - Must be located in Canberra, hybrid work arrangements

Security Clearance - Must be an Australian Citizen | Must have Baseline Security Clearance (https://www.agsva.gov.au/about/security-clearance-definitions)

Overview:

Software Engineers write and test code, optimise software for speed and capability, evaluate and test new software, design and maintain software systems under limited supervision.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Contribute across all phases of projects (e.g., Plan, Analyse, Design, Build and Test)
  • Partner with cross-functional technology and design teams to ensure consistent solution delivery.
  • Work closely with the testers and project team to ensure DevOps items are being managed to meet timeframes, timely development sprints are achieved, and defects are resolved.
  • Work in an agile methodology operating environment.
  • Create and update technical design documents and as build documentation.

Skills & Experience required:

  • Have minimum of 7 years of Power Platform development experience.
  • Have minimum of 5 years' experience in customising Power Apps Portals.
  • Experience with configuring portals in Power Apps Portal studio including designing web pages, forms and content.
  • Managing the development lifecycle from end-to-end through the configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service solution.
  • Good knowledge on liquid templates, jQuery, Bootstrap 3.3 and above.
  • Experience configuring various security protocol such as Oauth and ability to configure in Power Apps Portal.
  • Experience with Power Automate.
  • Experience with Angular or React will be added advantage.
  • Experience in customising and configuring D365 including forms, views, workflows and business rules.
  • Experience in integrating D365 with other systems such as external APIs.
  • Configure Microsoft Data verse and create apps by using Microsoft Power Apps including Canvas Apps, Model Driven Apps and Portal Apps.
  • Integrating of Microsoft Power Apps with other apps and services using REST API.
  • Experience in configuring business rules.
  • Utilise the out of the box features of Dynamics 365 such as workflow automation/Power Automate, report wizards, import/export capabilities, service management dashboard, queue management, service level agreements.
  • Conduct data analysis for entity model design and build, identify and incorporate data rules within the application's context, data mappings and integration mappings.
  • Develop quality, fit-for-purpose applications and services including custom workflows, plug-ins and various integrations.

Criteria:

  • D365 Developer: At least 7 years of experience in development, configuration, solutions evaluation, validation and deployment of Dynamics 365 systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in customising and configuring:
    • Case Management
    • Knowledge articles
    • Data security (roles and permissions)
    • Entities, forms, views, workflows and business rules.
  • Demonstrated experience with REST API, WebService integrations, SharePoint, Power BI and data migration.
  • Power Platform Developer: At least 7 years of experience in development, configuration, solutions evaluation, validation and deployment of Power Apps Portal solutions. Demonstrated experience using JQuery, HTML, CSS, Java Script, Bootstrap 3.3 & above, liquid templates.
  • Demonstrated experience in customising and configuring:
    • Basic and advanced forms
    • Web pages, views, forms, and entities
  • Demonstrated experience with REST APIs integrations SharePoint integration, Power BI and understanding of Power Apps AI Builder.
  • Experience working in the Federal Government.
