Astleys Plumbing and Hardware Dubbo have an opportunity for a Joinery Draftsperson to join their team.

Astleys Joinery provides sales, design, and installation of cabinets to the Dubbo region and beyond, servicing both major account customers and trade clients. The business is part of the broader MAAS Group network, offering access to a wide range of products, solutions, and businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Interpreting drawings, architectural plans, specifications, and regulations
  • Preparing preliminary sketches, technical drawings, and 3D visualisations
  • Preparing schedules outlining elements such as hardware and materials
  • Liaising with the sales team to present drawings to clients
  • Collaborating with the production team for cabinetry production and design implementation
  • Staying updated with the latest colours and design concepts
  • Meeting quality standards and deadlines

Knowledge, experience, and attributes sought

  • Background in joinery drafting or cabinetmaking
  • Ability to interpret floor plans and elevations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team player with accountability for individual workload
  • Efficient and accurate in producing detailed drawings

MAAS Group (ASX: MGH) is a multinational company with growth across sectors. This role is with Astleys, its building supplies division, based in Dubbo, NSW, with an office in the trade area. The position reports to the Commercial Manager and liaises with the Store Manager, Counter Manager, and Trade staff.
