About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team as a Fluids Assistant at Charles Brownlow Retirement Village in Highton. This is a part-time position working Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 0930-1300.

This role is crucial in promoting and assisting with all aspects of nutritional food and fluid intake of our residents. In this role you will:

  • Ensure all residents receive a jug of fresh water and clean glass each morning to maintain their hydration.
  • Prepare smoothies and/or food supplement drinks (e.g., Ensure) when required and maintain a continuous supply in the dining room fridge.
  • Assist with all aspects of dining room preparation for morning tea/lunch to create a 5-star dining experience.
  • Maintain a record of any fluids and food given to residents, as directed by the Registered Nurse and raise any concerns as they arise.
  • Wash a small amount of dishes in the glasswasher.
  • Clean up after breakfast, morning tea, and lunch service.
