The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Carer to join our team at Lefroy Care Centre in Bull Creek. Our residents have expressed that they can't run the place without you This is a fixed-term role offering 36 hours per fortnight. If you enjoy sharing a laugh and bringing your care skills to our community, we want to hear from you

Week 1

Monday: 0700 - 1300

Week 2

Monday: 0700 - 1300

Thursday: 0700 - 1300

Friday: 0700 - 1300

Please note, you must be able to commit to all scheduled shifts to be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support residents' physical, social, emotional, psychological, and spiritual wellbeing through individualised care
• Assist with residents' care needs according to their care plans
• Support mobilisation and transfers of residents
• Collaborate with team members to promote a harmonious working environment
• Advocate for the rights of older people
• Assist with personal hygiene, showering, and toileting
• Support activities of daily living, dressing, and grooming
• Assist at meal times, including feeding
• Assist with medication management or administer medications as per profiles
• Maintain effective communication within the workplace

About You:

The successful candidate will build positive relationships with residents, providing compassionate, respectful, and dignified care. You will play a key role in delivering Amana Living's award-winning model of care and making a meaningful difference in residents' lives.

• Certificate III in Aged Care
• Effective communication skills and ability to build understanding with residents
• Experience administering medications
• Valid Police Clearance (no older than 6 months) or ability to obtain one
• NDIS Screen Check or willingness to obtain one
• Current Flu and Covid vaccinations (x3)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
• Availability for a 7-day induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
