Overview

Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Trades Assistant preferably with a background in a heavy engineering/manufacturing environment, willing to support the team in our heavy engineering Machine Shop based in the Illawarra. There is also the possibility of site work for a qualified Rigger.

You will work in a flexible, team environment supporting our tradespeople in the delivery of new and refurbished heavy engineering components. Duties include movement of materials and equipment around the shop, crane lifts, rigging (if qualified) and general trades assistant and labour support.

You Will Have
  • A commitment to safety, customer focus, quality and teamwork
  • A Forklift HRW Licence
  • Dogging HRW Licence
  • The ability to work overtime as required.
You May Also Have (or Be Willing To Get)
  • A Rigging HRW Licence
  • Crane Driving (CB) HRW Licence
