As Head of Department (Secondary) with a focus on Creative Industries, you will be a skilled instructional leader with strong organisational skills and subjectexpertise. You will lead a collaborative team to shape an engaging curriculum, with a focus on quality teaching and learning for improved student achievement. You will have demonstrated experience in leading within the Creative Industries and/or Hospitality faculty areas.
This role is offered on apermanent full-time basis.

About the Role
As the Head of Department - Creative Industries, you will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks:
- Lead the Arts and Hospitality Departments to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance, within the Arts and Hospitality Departments.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
- Be futures oriented and strategic.
