The Role:

It's never been a more exciting time to be joining Navantia Australia, one of Australia's leading companies in the Maritime Defence industry. Navantia Australia plays a key part in the Australian government's Naval Shipbuilding Plan, we are committed to growing Australia's shipbuilding and sustainment capability and we want you to grow your career with us. Operating under the Design Support Contract (DSC), we are seeking expressions of interest from intermediate and senior talented Engineers, from all different disciplines to join our teams based in Sydney Garden Island Defence Precinct. Please note, these positions will commence in July/August 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside industry leaders and like-minded engineers on sustaining Navantia designed warships in service with the Royal Australian Navy (including Hobart Class DDGs, Canberra Class LHDs and Supply Class AORs).

Disciplines include:

  • Mechanical Engineers
  • Electrical Engineers
  • Combat System Integration Engineers
  • System Safety Engineers

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience working in the Defence or Maritime industry (desirable).
  • Eligibility for an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) Defence Security Clearance

Navantia Australia specialises in project management, engineering services and through life support in the naval shipbuilding domain.
