Qualified Signwriter

We're on the lookout for a motivated team member to join ourKyabram Workshopfull-time. Whether you're aqualified Signwriter, a 3rd Year Apprentice, or a practical labourer with trade skills ready to learn, this role is hands-on, varied, and full of opportunity.

Some days you'll be assembling signage, using the plotter, router, or letter bender in the workshop. Other days you'll be on-site helping with installs, surveys, and removals. You may also travel or work a night shift when the project calls for it. No two days are the same, and that's just how we like it.

What You'll Be Doing

• Creating and installing signage for a broad range of clients, including vinyl, channel letters, illuminated signs, vehicles and retail signage (to name a few)
• Loading and transporting signage, tools, and materials to site
• Preparing sites for installation, including removal of existing signage
• Performing maintenance and repairs to signs as needed
• Operating tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Assisting with site surveys
• Adhering to all safety requirements
• Working collaboratively in a team

What We're Looking For

• Experience in the signage industry or a trade background (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• White Card & Driver's Licence
• Physically fit and able to lift, climb, and work at heights
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Experience (or willingness to learn) using a boom or scissor lift
• Excellent attention to detail
• Reliable, motivated, and ready to roll your sleeves up
