Work Type: Options for both full-time (5 days/week) and part-time (3 days/week).
Contract Duration: Initial 16-week engagement.
We are looking for a Security Analyst who is passionate about cybersecurity and eager to monitor, analyse, and respond to potential threats in a dynamic IT environment. This is a critical role responsible for detecting and responding to incidents, improving threat detection capabilities, and contributing to the ongoing development of our cyber security framework.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyse infrastructure, SIEM, EDR, and intrusion detection tools for potential threats, intrusions, or data breaches.
Conduct root cause analysis and respond to security incidents, escalating where appropriate.
Identify gaps in threat detection and recommend enhancements to security configurations and controls.
Lead phishing simulations and drive user awareness training to promote a security-first culture.
Support the deployment and management of EDR solutions across endpoints.
Assist in the rollout and maintenance of ISMS policies and NIST-aligned security frameworks.
Document and maintain security controls and configurations; support continuous compliance.
Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and support penetration testing remediation.
Collaborate with IT and third-party vendors to ensure secure integration and ongoing threat mitigation.
Stay current with emerging threats, tools, and techniques in cybersecurity.

To be Shortlisted you require the following:

4–6 years experience in a Security Analyst, SOC Analyst, or similar security operations role. - instead write down Strong experience working in similar role as Security Analyst or SOC Analyst or working in similar security operation roles..
- Security certifications (desirable): Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM, or ITIL.
- Deep understanding of security technologies including firewalls, SIEM, DLP, EDR, IDS/IPS, and privileged access management.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Windows/Linux security, and cloud security (Azure/AWS).
- Ability to interpret and act on security assessments, penetration tests, and audit findings.
- Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and reporting capabilities using Excel, Power BI, etc.
- Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with OT (Operational Technology) environments is a plus.
