We're looking for a Livestock Production Specialist to join our Cooma team. If you're passionate about animal health and productivity, thrive on building relationships, and want to make a difference in the lives of local farmers, this is the role for you.

In this role you will:
  • Provide technical advice and animal health support to our livestock clients (with the support of the AgriWest Livestock Production team).
  • Build strong relationships with new and existing customers, suppliers, and industry experts.
  • Drive sales by ensuring clients use the right products to maximise productivity and profitability.
  • Support seasonal product forecasting and contribute to local field days, newsletters, and community events.
  • Be the primary contact in Cooma for key livestock production clients regarding product pricing and customer orders, supply, and logistics.
  • Processing sales order administration, stock control, preparing orders for delivery, store merchandising and branch transfers.

To be successful you will have:
  • A passion for livestock production and helping farmers achieve better outcomes.
  • Strong sales and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Current driver's licence (essential).
  • Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain).
  • A "nothing is too much trouble" attitude with excellent attention to detail.
  • An agricultural background is preferable but not essential.
