The Role

Join Origin Energy's LPG Distribution Team in Mackay for a full-time, permanent opportunity. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of LPG to residential and commercial customers, reporting to the Terminal Manager. We place a strong emphasis on safety, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting the development of our people.

Standard hours: 6:00 AM – 2:06 PM, Monday to Friday (regular overtime available).

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely deliver LPG cylinders to customers
  • Load and unload bulk LPG at the terminal
  • Manage stock levels of tested LPG cylinders and carry out required repairs and retesting
  • Record meter readings accurately
  • Deliver excellent customer service at every interaction
  • Assist with general labouring tasks at the terminal
  • Support colleagues and pitch in on other roles as needed
About You
  • Current Medium Rigid (MR) driver's licence and relevant experience
  • Possession of, or willingness to obtain, a Dangerous Goods licence
  • Strong background in customer-facing delivery roles
  • A genuine commitment to maintaining and promoting a strong safety culture
  • Physical capability to manage the demands of the job, including repetitive lifting of 25 kg cylinders and moving cylinders up to 85 kg (trolleys provided)
  • Experience working with hazardous substances
