What You'll Be Doing

• Assisting in planning and leading fun and interactive leisure and recreation programs.
• Encouraging residents to participate and enjoy activities that suit their interests and abilities.
• Being a friendly and supportive presence, helping residents feel valued and engaged.
• Ensuring activities run smoothly and keeping track of resident participation and feedback.

What We're Looking For

• A warm and friendly personality with a genuine passion for helping others.
• A creative spark—someone who can bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm to activities.
• Good communication skills and the ability to build strong connections with residents.
• Experience in aged care, community services, or similar is desirable.
• A Certificate III in Aged Care or similar.
• Current First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificates are desirable.
• Current National Police Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check - or the ability to acquire.

Employee Benefits:

As a not-for-profitentity, our employees can package up to$18,549 their taxable income before your income tax is calculated. Up to $15,900 p.a. on everyday expenses (such as mortgage payments, rent, groceries, bills and insurance) plus up to $2,649 p.a. on meal/entertainment benefits.

The Salary range for this position is currently $31 to $32 per hour. Hourly rate based on experience.
