Your Role

We are hiring an elite Business Development Manager – Cybersecurity for Accounting, Engineering & Professional Services with proven experience selling either cybersecurity, IT, ERP platforms, accounting practice management software (e.g. MYOB AE/AO, APS, Sage Handisoft, Reckon APS), engineering project management platforms (e.g. Deltek, Synergy, Aconex), e-signature solutions (e.g. FuseSign, DocuSign), cloud and digital transformation solutions, or other enterprise services into the professional services sector in Victoria.

This is a full-cycle B2B role with complete ownership across prospecting, stakeholder engagement, solution development, commercial structuring, and deal closure. You must understand how professional services firms buy, how partners and directors make decisions, and how to position cybersecurity in the context of compliance, confidentiality, and client trust.

Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

You must have sold services into mid-sized and large accounting, engineering, or other professional services firms across Victoria.

You must have existing relationships with Managing Partners, Managing Directors, COOs, CFOs, or other senior decision-makers within professional services.

Experience in cybersecurity, risk, compliance, IT, or professional services sales is strongly preferred.

Applications that do not meet these minimum requirements will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Own the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close within the accounting, engineering, and professional services vertical.

Leverage your existing senior network to create warm introductions and drive high-velocity deal flow.

Lead structured discovery meetings with Managing Partners, Managing Directors, CFOs, and Heads of IT/Risk.

Collaborate with internal consultants and technical SMEs to design tailored offerings for professional services firms.

Guide clients through scope, compliance requirements, delivery structure, and commercial terms.

Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene and report metrics directly to the CEO.

What You Bring

Minimum 5+ years in professional services sales, with accounting, engineering, or related sector exposure required.

Experience closing $100K+ consulting, IT, or cybersecurity service deals.

Strong understanding of professional services firm structures, buying cycles, and client confidentiality obligations.

Executive presence, polished communication, and deep credibility with senior professional services decision-makers.

High level of personal accountability and operational discipline.
