Overview

Responsibilities
  • Support, repair, and maintain robotic instrumentation in the field.
  • Install new equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair Hamilton equipment.
  • Report problems and perform root cause analysis on instrument failures.
  • Regular commute to and from customer sites with the ability to navigate within the Brisbane, Australia region; follow traffic laws and ensure on-time arrival at customer sites.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A high desire for quality.
  • Demonstrated experience working in the field as well as in a corporate setting.
  • Ability to train non-technical personnel on highly technical material.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a safety-conscious manner due to potential hazardous chemicals and biologicals.
  • Ability to learn new robotic operating systems.
  • Must possess and maintain a current, valid Driver License.
  • Must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check.
  • Must have personal, reliable transportation with valid registration and insurance that can safely transport necessary equipment.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from a regionally accredited, not-for-profit university preferred.

Or

  • The equivalent combination of an Associates, Vocational, Technical/Trade, or equivalent degree/certificate and at least two years of technical experience working in an electronic/electrical engineering environment with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electronics, electrical, mechanical, and computer systems.
Experience
  • Experience in technical field service and working with customers in the life science, clinical, or pharmaceutical field is preferred.
  • Experience in automation or a related field is required.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal, is required.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move approximately 60 lbs.
