About The Facility

Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong's CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

About The Role

The BSWRICS Co-Clinical Director works closely with the BSWRICS Program Director, the BSWRICS Governance Committee, Department of Health, member health services, and other stakeholders to provide strategic and clinical leadership to inform cancer policy, system reform, and service improvement across the Barwon South Western region and Victoria.

The BSWRICS Co-Clinical Director contributes to cancer policy, system reform, and service improvement by strategically influencing, advocating, engaging, and collaborating with clinical peers and other stakeholders across the BSW region and Victoria. The BSWRICS Co-Clinical Director demonstrates best evidence-based expertise and practice in cancer care, credibility in the health sector, and a strong understanding of cancer data.

The BSWRICS Co-Clinical Director actively participates in BSWRICS and VICS governance, planning, forum, representation, and advocacy activities. They promote the purpose and objectives of BSWRICS, creating opportunities for collaboration across the region and Victoria. They promote principles of co-design to ensure patients, consumers, careers, and/or health services staff are actively involved in BSWRICS activities.
