Nurse Next Door is a certified Great Place to Work. We are looking to build our care team with experienced carers who can work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
We are dedicated to providing flexible in-home care options for those in the aged care and disability sectors, helping people live more fulfilling lives both at home and in the community.

Our goal is to enable members of our ageing and disabled community to live fulfilling lives at home for as long as possible, doing what they love.
We provide 24/7 care, with visits scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet client needs.
Responsibilities- Provide genuine, compassionate, and personalized care experiences to clients
- Assist with activities of daily living: personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship
- Follow care plans developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
- Ensure safety and proper use of equipment
- Accurately complete records and documentation
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team
- Participate in ongoing training
- Passion for making a difference
- Self-led with responsibility for own behavior and success
- Coachable and open to learning
- Previous caregiving experience is an asset
- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
- Ability to report client concerns to Care Designers
- Reliable transportation to client homes
- Drivers with own vehicle are advantageous
- Minimum Cert III in Aged Care, Community Support, Individual Support, Disability, or extensive industry experience
- National Police Check (Aged Care/Vulnerable Persons Sector)
- Working With Children Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
