Urgently hiring for one of our direct client in Australia.

Job Title- Network Engineer

Location- Sydney/Melbourne (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, WAPs) to meet business demands
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and resolve incidents to minimize downtime
  • Configure, maintain, and secure network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs)
  • Implement security measures: firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, segmentation, access control policies
  • Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, backups, and disaster recovery procedures
  • Document network configurations, topologies, standards, and change history I
  • Support and mentor IT staff on networking best practices and tools
  • Coordinate with vendors, third-party providers, and other IT teams for infrastructure projects
  • Stay updated on technological advancements and integrate improvements when needed

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or equivalent
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in network configuration and administration
  • Proficiency with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless infrastructure
  • Deep understanding of protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, and VLAN tagging
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios)
